After years of research, education, and experience in private practice, I’ve learned that to be well, it is important to focus on physical health (nutrition, movement, hygiene, etc.), emotional health (mindset, motivation, and stress management), and environmental health (minimizing pollutants, toxins, and unwanted organisms). I have also learned that health journeys are similar to building a house or playing a video game, you need to lay the foundation or pass the first level to continue to move forward.
Once a client has a solid foundation, then we can see which symptoms are resolved and which symptoms we need to dig deeper to discover the root cause and best interventions to heal.

You will never receive a general protocol, but always get a protocol that was designed just for you based on your symptoms, diagnoses, allergies, preferences, and budget. No matter which package you choose, you will be able to spend hours with me per month discussing your symptoms, progress, goals, test results, and more. We are inundated with stressors all day, every day. We experience stress at work, are exposed to toxins in their environments, have challenging relationships, and worry about their health. It is clear that worrying about health is a big stressor that a lot of us experience, and it could be impacting health outcomes (a double edged sword):
Stress is really rough on the body and can cause inflammation, lower the immune system, dysregulate the nervous system, hinder digestion, alter hormones, and more. Stress is one piece of the chronic disease puzzle. Other pieces include the Standard American diet, a sedentary lifestyle, exposure to harmful environmental toxins and organisms, poor sleep, and chronic dieting.
Based on these statistics, it is time to take a serious look at our daily habits and find ways to decrease the emotional and physical stressors that we experience and optimize our diet and lifestyle choices to prevent, manage, or heal from chronic disease or unexplained infertility.
I also understand that people are busy! We have work, families, social groups and volunteer organizations, and other responsibilities that take time away from focusing on our health. It can be exhausting, and time consuming, to research what to eat, what the best workouts are, helpful mindfulness practices, the ideal amount of sleep… and then to implement it is even more challenging. That is what I am here for – to take the mental load and stress off of you. I will work with you to discover the optimal and most realistic diet and lifestyle practices to help you achieve your health goals.

Many other states require a specific state licensure, so I am excited to add Delaware and Florida to the list of states that I can practice medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling.
I can practice in any state as a certified trauma-informed health coach! If you do not live in any of the states listed above, the foundations program is for you!
I do not take insurance because I want to be able to spend adequate time in session with you to truly understand YOU – your history, symptoms, and needs – and provide you with the most meaningful support. However, clients have been able to pay through their HSAs.
