In 2024, I was forced to make health an even bigger priority than it already was when I as diagnosed with PCOS and saw some irregular lab markers (high cholesterol, high TSH, and high cortisol). I realized that the way that I lived my life needed to change.
I could no longer do a million things, always be on the go, and over commit myself in my career and social life. I resisted all of this at first, still not being willing to give up a passion project or side hustle, but then my dog started to have seizures and stomach issues. Dealing with his health along with mine truly made me sit back and determine what my priorities were – health and family. It was after that reflection that I was able to let things go to truly be able to support our health and my family.
Since making lots of changes and creating routines that work for me, I have fallen in love with many different habits, products, and brands. Here are my favorites, broken down by category of what I used them for:

If you are just starting your wellness journey, this list can seem daunting. It has taken me years of creating habits and committing to them to be able to say I do the things on this list consistently (not perfectly or daily). I am also in a healing phase, as I am working to reverse the less-than-optimal lab markers I saw in July with the goal of conceiving a child within the next year. You might not be in a place where you need to engage in biohacking or lower your cortisol and histamines. I am just sharing this list to show you what has worked for me on this stage of my healing journey 🙂
